Even though the entire car was straightened back to factory specs, it never hurts to make it stronger so I chose to also add some Global West Subframe connectors

This is a set of 1985 Pontiac Fiero GT seats with speakers built into the headrest. They will be reupholstered in matching vinyl to match the stock interior rear seat. Due to my back injuries from the accident I can't sit in a stock seat for long and these things are as comfortable as a high end Recarro. There are lots of aftermarket options available like Scat but turning the radio volume up and down at every red light in a convertible with loud exhaust is tiresome and I won't have to do that anymore!

This is the new seat cover design I have chosen From the Mr. Mikes website, of course it will be in black leather not the tan shown but it should match the rear stock seat pattern quite nicely!

My new 2 1/2" stainless Magnaflow exhaust. I used to run old school glasspacks but I'm older now and they were just a little too loud. Besides, the neighbors will appreciate these much more when I fire it up early in the morning. The only down side is no one makes a correct rolled lip dual tip in this size but maybe down the road they will.

This was how my mostly stock looking engine bay was before. I was originally just going to freshen the paint but once I decided to yank it and have the entire car media blasted that just didn't seem to make sense anymore. It had way more flaking and peeling and rust spots than I originally thought. Once again like everything on this car I fell victim to the Domino effect.

As Kharma would have it this once again became a wise choice. Since the engine was on a stand and I planned to completely strip it down to bare metal for a clean and long lasting paintjob in the correct ford blue I decided that also warranted all new gaskets and to paint every part seperately since it would all be taken apart anyway. The engine had been refreshed 6 years ago when the CAM was upgraded and ran perfectly but as it turns out the timing chain had some slack so I chose to upgrade to a dual true roller timing chain while I was in there. This is the new one installed.
