 Fred's 1969 Mach 1 Stang.
1969 Mach 1, M code. Originally Aztec Aqua (Crest toothpaste color),
repainted Candyapple Red by previous owner 19 years ago. The 351 W is the original
block. Previous owner balanced the motor and put a pretty stout Comp cam in,
along with some ported heads. I "finished" the job recently with a Edelbrock
Performer RPM and FPA headers, followed by an X-pipe and 2 chamber Flowmasters
exiting through the quad tips. It is topped with a 600 Holley that has seen
better days. Following a "mishap" by a shop a couple months ago with said
carb, the engine needed to be disassembled for inspection and repair by another
shop. I figured as long as it was apart, might as well throw in some more
parts. It has a Toploader 4speed and 3.50 gears in back.
