Hey,
My '69 Fastback, once modified, will be almost an everyday driver. I'm going to insure it for a stated value of about $40k. I will probably put about 7.500 miles on it per year. Any of you guys use your Mustangs as everyday drivers? If so, who do you use for insurance and what do you pay? I'm going to be talking to ANPAC this week, but they want all the rest of my insurance as well. State Farm wants about $2,500 per year for the above stated value, no way.....
Thanks....
Rob Wigley

Ouch. I drive mine daily but no full coverage as of yet. But will get it appraised after paint and body work is complete among other things during that time such as wiring and the tranny. Hopefully i can get a little better deal.

This isn't an advertisement for an insurance company, however I have found what I consider the ultimate deal. Yes, I'm having to move all my insurance to this company, which includes a total of 4 cars (another to be added in february), both my homeowners policies and my umbrella policy, but is proving to be worth it.
Looks like I'm going with ANPAC, their CHROME policy. For my '69 Mustang I get 7,500 miles per year. My stated value on the 'stang is $40k. For my 4 cars (sequoia, F150, Blazer, Mustang) and 3 drivers I'm going to pay $1,724 semi-annually. This compares to $2,230 with State Farm....however State Farm's value on the Mustang is under $5k. I would have to add about $2,000 semi-annually to get the $40k stated value.

So here's the upshot: State Farm would cost me a total of about $6,230 annually, ANPAC will cost $3,450. If you have teen-agers, which I do, this can NOT be beat, far as I can tell. I would love to hear from others on what they do.......

Oh, and the homeowners is also coming in slightly cheaper than State Farm.

WoW sounds like a great deal. I'll let you know how mine goes in the coming months.
