Well im new here and thought id introduce myself.

Ive had a 70 mustang sitting around my garage for a year and just finally started my first resto of a car. Its a 70 mustang fastback with a 302.
Looking to just redo interior, rebuild engine possibly bore it to a 347. Its orginally form LA so the body's fairly clean.

hoping to learn alot more, was going to half ass this but decided thats not the way to restore a car. so im gonna take my time and hopefully learn some more things along the way.

i have some expiernce wrenchin but mostly on jeeps.

take it easy

I will maybe go the same route. Start with a 302 shortblock, add an stroker kit and then add the 351-4v HEADS.

This reminds me.
Who has done a 302 stroker?
What parts did you use and what cam, intake, heads, etc that you used.
Need mega input.

Welcome to the site blackjack. Car looks like its in good shape. Yeh if you can take your time with it you'll be really happy with the finished product. Hope you have a garage or somewhere to tear it down and not have to worry about it. Rim's make a big difference IMO. When i got my torque thrust II's it changed the look of the car 200%. Have any paint ideas yet?

yeah i have a 2 car garage to tear her down in.

im probably going to go with 17" cragar ss or torq thrust II like you.

paint im not quite sure right now. I wanna do something like a gun metal or gloss black. numbers dont match so im not really worried about keeping her 100percent stock.

almost got her stripped down, then on to engine.
