Hi everyone,
I am new here and I wanted to share that my dad and I are rebuilding a 1969 fastback. This is going to be my car, Im paying for everything. There is quite a bit that we need to do but in the end it will all be worth it. We need to repair the frame, sandblast it and etc, we need to replace the floor pans and some interior work, do some body work, the brakes, my dad wants to switch the front brakes from drum to disk and we also need to do the rear brakes for what lol I dont remember exactly. We are going to put a rebuilt 351 windsor in it along with a C4 transmission. After we are going to be repainting it and the new tires and rims all that fun stuff. Im 18 and just really getting into cars so bear with me lol. I may be asking a lot of questions over the time period of this project so hopefully you guys will be able to help me out!
Well anyways heres a little intro about me. Im an 18 yr old girl from Michigan that grew up on fords with a mustang loving dad. I am very into trucks and mustangs. Lol even though my first car is a 95 taurus but hey it was givin as a graduation present so ya cant beat that. I am also very into horses I own 2 and am expecting a foal this summer. I am going to school full time to become a Licensed Practial Nurse then a Registered Nurse. I am also working as a nurses aide at our local hospital. Im so excited to be able to work on this mustang and want it to be on the road and looking great in no time at all but hey perfection takes time right? lol. Well Im always open for chatting anytime about mostly anything so hope to catch ya'll later.

Sounds like a fun project. You'll have to bring it down to Norwalk Ohio for that Fun Ford Weekend. :)

Well actually this car is not a fastback like I thought it was. I was confusing it with my dads 1971 fastback. Oh well though its still a great car to me fastback or not. lol. That would be fun to come Ohio when its finally done. Maybe Ill look into it and just come to look this coming year if my car isnt done by then. Thanks for replying!

We're gonna have a busy winter as my dad wants to get his 71 going for some car shows in the spring and summer. I think hes changin the engine and redoin the paint job. Congrats on owning a 'stang. You are the perfect age to start rebuilding her. I was just a liny younger when I first started my 'stang project. I now still own her for 26 years strong. Please look at my Solo2 '69 stang pictures. It will get you excited what it could be.

Just take it slowly and have fun. At least I did.
Good luck.
