I have a 69' Mustang Grande and the heater doesn't work. The fan works but it only blows air out of the defroster and it is never warm air. I was wondering if any of you guys have any bright ideas.

sounds like you need a new set of control cables, easy fix.

this is the part i'd say you need.

You may want to check your heater core to. My uncle and i changed it awhile back and THEN realized we needed new cables. I have yet to install them yet as i have a new blower motor to install also. Waiting until we do the new wiring harness i purchased from EZ Wiring. Should be fun.

But yup check them cables, they are probably suspect.

unplug it and use jumpers to the motor from the fuse box. if the motor works then you have an issue somewhere. to check the system, look at the plugs and get a tester for the plug...turn the heater on and check the plug to see if it works.
