OK, enough of the broken, glue-in style glass! Switching to the bolt -in glass, but have been told me something which delays parts buying. Having located the glass plates, a parts vendor told me the length of the glass is different between the '69 and '70 models. Since the trim is attached to the rear quarter window on a '70, and attached to the front door glass on a '69, he said the lengths were different. I've always read that the bolt in glass will fit right in the '69. He says I also have to swap the rear quarters (for fit). I've never heard this before, so looking for word from someone who has actually performed the swap.

the door glass is different in length between 69 and 70, but the quarter windows are the same, if you use the 70 quarter seals and trim you won't have a problem, i didn't anyway

I bought some bolt-in windows on ebay, and then found you can order new ones from Muscle City Glass. I ended up ordering a new rear window for my '69 fastback, but haven't put it in yet. I just went to the website and didn't see the bolt-in windows, but I know they carry them. The website is www.musclecityglass.com
