Lucas oil

Hey guys. I was at Kragen today. I looked at this bottle of Lucas Oil Additive. It claims to say that improves lubrication of moving parts and dry starts are eliminated. Have any of you used this product? Does it work or is it a hoax?

A friend of mine uses it in her 67 coupe because her engine is the original and is supposed to increase the life of it? But i dont know whether it works or not. I dont think it could hurt.
