Exterior Decor Group

Hello,

I just got a 999 report for my 69 coupe. It's pretty much as I expected. It does state it has the exterior decor group. What makes up this group? :confused1:

if memory serves, it includes chrome wheels well trim, rear decklid chrome trim and lower rocker panel chrome molding and pop open gas cap. it might have also included the sport mirrors as well but i'm not sure on that.

It was only the wheel opening mouldings, rocker mouldings and the qtr/decklid mouldings. The package was standard on the Grande.

are you sure it didn't include the pop open gas cap? i swear that was part of the package too but i've been wrong before.

I just checked my Mustang recognition guide and the exterior decor group includes the items I metioned previously and base 5-spoke wheelcovers. The pop-open gas cap was only available on the Mach 1 and GT.

Thanks for the replies. All of the trim 69grandecj mentions are/were on the car. Standard gas cap also. Who knows if it the original cap that came with the car but it is aged and cracked. The wheel covers are long gone (that doesn't bother me).
