Does anyone know where we can get an updated radio bezel without spending a couple hundred dollars? Man I'd love to use to use a cd tuner in my car but I can't find any cheap bezels. Well I may not get an answer to this so maybe someone knows of a site where I can pick up a new or refurb jensen or pioneer. My old radio isn't half bad but I just found out the brand and I just can't see myself bragging about my sears and robucks made in japan stereo. I didn't even know they made car radios.

You mean a radio bezel that has a slot cut out for a regular cd player? Most of us just cut away from a repro one and dremel it down until we can squeeze the cd player in there. Unless you want to pay $400 for a repro bezel that is already made for one.

national parts depot offer radio bezals for newer radios cd players cost> 99 bucks

69mach thats exactly what I'm looking for. I don't wanta spend 400.00 as bswor qouted. I saw it for 299.00 but that still crazy. I went to the site though and didn't see the bezel. I'm assuming your referring to http://www.nationalpartsdepot.com/catalog/mustang/mustangcat.html ?

I thought about cutting it out but I'd screw it up and it would look like cra*p.

Since my trunk mounted CD changer got totalled in the accident I have been contemplating not replacing it and instead yanking my Kenwood AM FM cassette palyer and upgrading to a unit like this.

Except I'd go with a black bezel, but it's designed to fit in the stock location and accomodate a more modern system.

If I go this route I'll probably let my Kenwood go for a decent price along witht he stock bezel.

EDIT: I just re-read your post so I guess that's not quite what you are looking for, are you looking for just a bezel like the one I posted in the pic?

Thats what I'm looking for except black as you posted. Where did you find that one and does it come in black. One last thing does anyone wanta trade their kenwood or pioneer for a sears and roebucks deck. I know whats going though your mind but this is probably a collector item and I'd hate to give it away on ebay for hundreds of dollars without first offering it to the group as a trade for a more common one.

Yea not bad at all but I can't find it on their site. I'm getting ready to refurb the sounds and need it. Man this interior is going to be kewl and I'm nearly done. The new abs parts arn't to bad.

the only thing about those bezels is the lack of chrome, what makes it worse is that if you wanted to try and paint the edges so it looks like it is actually supposed to be there you have the grain pattern there as well, MU has them in there catalog now too, but i think 99 bucks for a piece of abs plastic is ridiculous

Yeh it is a big markup but for those who dont want to spend $300 or cut up a $20 piece i guess this is for them. If you can afford to wait awhile im sure the price will drop even further. 8)

i got the new magazine yesterday and seen the bezal 99 bucks and it comes with a cage for the new stereo .its not on website ,It even looks factory without all the buchering. says new item ,so its not on website yet

Yep just called them and ordered it. The idea that the cage came with it was the deciding factor. Great idea!

I bought a blaupunkt cdplayer with bezel, that will fit without cutting anything.

My new NPD bezel with cage comes in today. Already went out and bought a new kenwood cd deck and set it up. Man sounds are way better then my old sear and roebucks one.

It's probably about the same as the one I posted above. The blaupunkt looks to future ricer to me for a classic though, I like the other unit NPD offers better.

yeah i prefer alpine myself but even they are getting really out there looking lately
