1969 Mach 1 questions

I found a very nice 69 mach 1, it seems to be in very nice shape. I have ran the vin and the datasheet to make sure that it is not a clone and have looked it over and everything seems to match.

One thing is bothering me though, it has the screw down instead of the pins for the hood? I can not find good info on it, was this an option?

no the 69's only came with the pin type latches with the exception of the 69 shelby. 70 and up use the twist type locks

B is right, but unless you plan on concours showing the car, I would not loose any sleep over that. In fact, I have been considering replacing my stock hood pins with the twist latch now that I am restomodding my car. If you ever want to swap mine for yours, just let me know
