I am wanting to find out what exact modifications I need to make in order to swap a 200ci for a 429ci into my 69 coupe. I have research some but nobody seems to really give a clear answer. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

Mega things:
Shock tower reiforcement and mods
Motor mount moved forward about one inch
Complete different wiring hardness and/or wires need to support the motor and then rewire to connect to the instrument cluster circuit board meaning changing the pin locations on the instrument cluster.
I can go on from here but you get the message.
A MAJOR project.

you really don't have to change the wiring harness, it may have to be modified some thaough. you will need conversion engine mounts and frame brackets, you can get them from http://www.critesrestoration.com/ you will also need a bigger radiator for sure, special headers are need for the swap as well. then you will need a lot of work on the drivetrain and suspension. you will need a 9" rearend to handle the power of the big block, and a tranny that will bolt up to the engine, you don't have a lot of options as far as tranny is concerned, either a big block 4spd top-loader or a c-6 unless you want to fork out big bucks for an aftermarket tranny. the suspension will need to be beefed up with heavy duty springs front and rear unless it will be a drag car only then the 6 cyl front spring will be just about right since they allow better weight transfer, but i wouldn't run them on the street. also disk brakes are highly recommended at this point too. i think covered the big stuff, of course there will be little things like brackets and pulleys etc, depending on what power accessories will used and the like. good luck and let us know if you need anything else

Disk brakes should be required. Four wheel drums have a very hard time stopping a big block. You'll have to run an elctric fan since there won't be room for a water pump driven. You'll also need to modify to change out the shift linkage if you stick with the auto.
I have a crossmember for a big block C6 if you need one. PM me if you're interested.
