Hey guys the last time I was here talking about my stang I had just started working on it well from then to now there has been so many turn of events (good events)

1 the car was an absolute mess! both doors where rotted and the drivers side quarter was patched very badly not exactly the best starter car but I can work my magic on it I said... So now I am putting two new full quarters on, two new door shells, booth valance panels are new, and replacing the taillight panel. That is just the body, that does not include the new 600 inch big block that is planned to put out 1000+ hp on E85. Or the new cage, or the new hand built firewall, or the other countless things on our list.

I am also slowly get more sponsors like air ride technologies, DVdesigns, and second skin insulation! we are also looking for more.

Ok enough yack yack on to the pictures.

Ok I have updates.

The quarter panel is almost ready to be welded in, but I have to rebuild alot of the door jamb and a few other things and I have to coat the inner shell with some second skin spectrum to get it nice and rattle free.

Hmmm. Now I'm thinking my Mustang isnt in such bad shape after all. You do great work. Wish I had your skill, patience, & equipment !

Yeah it is in pretty bad shape, but almost everything wil be replaced or hand built for looks. Thansk for the compliment. It is hard to keep at it when stuff does not work the first try or does not fit right (valance panel) but you get in there and get it working and it makes things that much more worth it.

Quick question...what are you stripping the paint of with?

I use a DA sander loaded with 80 grit, once the paint, filler and what not is removed I smooth the metal out quickly with so 320. The 320 is not needed but it helps when your looking for dents and stuff because it is smooth and has a good enough reflection to see flaws.

Looking good, very cool. Pro streeting mine too but did not go the tubbed route. (Yet)

Ok, so it has been a bit since the last update. It has been very slow we finally started working on our shop so my attention has been on geeting it done. But I have managed to get a little bit of work done on the car.
Goofing off with the car seeing what it looks like as low as it possibly can go.

http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk166/kode-red-racing/rideheight003.jpg
I did start extending the rockers but I started it on the fenders so I could work on my bench.

http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk166/kode-red-racing/trim002.jpg

For the heck of it I rolled the old 33 inch tire up to the quarter to see where it would have sat in the tub, boy was I surprised...

To clean up the rear valance the tag will be brought all the to the bottom and frenched in, as well as the reverse lights. Here is a picture of the begining of the new light bezel.
http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk166/kode-red-racing/trim009.jpg
After holding the doors up in there holes I started looking at the trim, and I think I may have a few tricks up my sleeve there to, Let's see if you can figure out what they may be.

I also started working on the rear bumper there is a lot of work that will be going into the bumpers.

And here is what my shop is starting to look like

Cool ride, I think I have seen a hotwheels toy Mustang with a similar stance as your stang.

Nice photos.
