That will look sweet, you going to go with the flat black on the hood treatment. I've seen it on the 03 Mach's and love the way it contrasts.

very nice, me likey!!!!!!! do those front tires clear everything without rubbing? any chance you could measure the backspacing on the front wheels for us? that is an awesome look and i'd like to try and replicate it on my 69 cougar. reminds a lot of an old trans am racer or early 80's canyon carver/mulholland drive street brawler.

thanks Javed, i would really appreciate that very much.
BTW, BFG no longer makes the 265/50-15 but there are a few other companies that do, i'll see if i can dig up some info for you on them

found the info on the 265/50-15
http://ssl.delti.com/cgi-bin/rshop.pl
there are 7 other companies that make that size. i personally think BFG was stupid for stopping production of that tire and the 275/50-15 too. the 275-50-15 and 235/60-15 are my favorite size tires with the 265/50-15 and 295/50-15 being next in line.

That is great to see it made the trip in one piece. My dad had a car shipped from the UK back to the states when he was in the military, they dropped it...
The garage in the picture, is that the only place you have to work on your cars? Looks crowded.
contrats on getting you car. cant wait to see more pics.

Nice looking resto candidate. Lots of room for rubber too. :thumbup1:

glad to hear there is more room on back. i once restored a jeep cj7 in a single car garage and had very limited room. it makes things tougher.

looks like a great project car but honestly I hate the way the fender lip is rolled out.
even if it allows for more rubber...

Hi – I am a newbie and enjoying this forum. GT350 – your project is interesting to me because I recently bought a similar project with flared rear fenders and would like to fill up the wheel well with rubber. Where did you find the 15x10 Magnums? Are the rear and front suspension stock or did anything have to be modified to fit the bigger tires? Do the fronts rub at all?

I like the look of your ride. What intrigues me the most is that you are from Scotland. What are the reactions of people when you drive through the country side. Do people know what kind of car it is, I don't mean to be rude or anything, I just don't know how common a Mustang is in the Scotland, nor how knowledgeable people are about American cars, or should I say North American cars, seeing that I am from Canada, eh....

About 3 years ago on vacation, somewhere between Heathrow Airport in London and Southhampton port on the southern coast, I drove by the most massive high end Mustang dealer! All Shelby's, Rousch, Cervini's, Foose, etc. of course of the newer rendition, but still way cool! They must specialize in importing special order stuff.
