I bit the bullet since my clutches went out and got the Super Streeter over at: http://www.performanceautomatic.com (look on ebay theres a seller that sells them for $650-660) Compared to a little over $1000 on there website and $900 from jegs i believe. Comes with one year warranty etc.
Should arrive in about 7 days. And during this same time im still shopping paint and body shops. Although i may have found the one im going to use. He offers a 7-10 year guarantee and his rough estimate was between $3-4000. I saw a 1968 camaro that had just been painted which he was showing the owner. Looked real nice, 7 layers of paint was put on it. He said he only does that for show cars like that one. But looked awesome with the ghost flames.
I'll let you know how everything goes and how the transmission does.
