Well I thought about keeping it under the hood :001_huh: I know BAD :scared:

1970 – 302 w/stock crank and rods, 40 over with dished pistons. Mild Comp Cam with hydraulic lifters and roller rockers. Stock heads that have been porter and polished, Screw in studs and oversized valves. Summit Stage 1 intake and Holley 4160 600cfm w/vacuum secondary and elect choke, supporting an Accel foam filter caped with chrome Ford Racing cleaner. Stock distributer w/Igniter guts and performance cap and rotor. Initially stock exhaust manifolds will feed into duals with glasspacks. I’m hoping the stock standard 3 speed lasts till I have the money for a T5.
Now all I need is to get it in the car, and the fron suspension reinstalled :001_huh:

"Initially"... I like that... so you have some future mods in mind for exhaust? Like headers, X pipe, etc?

Hey, sounds good... Let us know what you think about the Summit intake. I am torn on which intake for my 289. I like the height of the Summit one, I like the Airgap but I think it is overpriced. Weiand has one, they all seem to fit my cam and head package reasonably well. Did you port match it? How much work did that take?

btw if that three speed is not totally beat, it will hold up! They are tough. I dragged with one actually. You need a light car, just the right gearing and just the right tire size to get your 60', have a usable first, and not top out in third.

On the list :)

No work at all. It was not done as I'm not setup to get that involved at this time. Another - On the list.

Thanks, I was going to post a question about them.
