1969 mustang side scoop delete for Boss 302 clone

If you are making a true clone there's a lot of fab more complicated than that. I would just make a piece.

Years ago they didnt make 69 quarters with the side scoop and some people cut the quarters off before getting the new ones... and ended up with 69's that looked like 70's with a 69 nose... very confusing.

or find a 70 in a yard that has that area still in tact.

I can't recall which progress thread it was but we had one recently where they were restoring a 69' and cut around the original vents leaving them intact and only replacing the rest of the quarter panel. That would probably mean that they have the section you need in their waste pile.
